The device is a full-wave power converter without back rectifier, and features both an analog major and minor loop in order to regulate armature voltage and speed. This particular version of the series is one of the “complete” versions (as opposed to the “basic” version of the part).
The controller has a variety of functions, such as START/STOP, RUN/JOG, FORWARD/REVERSE, torque selection, speed selection, and isolation of armature voltage.
