Product Description

The Non-Regenerative Controller with an Auxiliary Panel, 14C103, is part of the FlexPak Plus series manufactured by Reliance Electric.

This controller has a Horse Power rating that ranges from 2-3 and an AC Input drive rating of 230 volts. Within those ratings, this controller has a rated A-C line ranging from 14.0 to 21.0 amperes and an Input KVA ranging from 3.22 to 4.83. 14C103 also carries a D-C Armature Voltage of 180 and a Rated Armature Current of between 10.0 and 15.0 amperes. The A-C frequency is 48 to 62 Hz and the service factor of application data is 1.0.

14C103 has full wave, full control conversion, which allows for smooth operation and efficient application. This controller is power-matched with Reliance D-C motors for optimum performance. The power semiconductors are contained within power cubes that are easily replaceable, and there is a built-in surge suppressor. When installing the controller, do not mount the chassis horizontally. Be sure to leave 2 inches of clearance between the top of one drive and the bottom of another drive.

The auxiliary panel on this FlexPak Plus Non-Regenerative Controller provides fused A-C line protection, and the motor armature contactor disconnects power to the drive motor. There are many optional features and accessories for Reliance Electric controllers, including the Test Meter Adapter kit, which allows users to measure controller and regulator signal voltages with a voltmeter. Another optional feature is the Automatic Reversing kit, which provides automatic reverse-direction capability and is exclusive to non-regenerative controllers. The Auxiliary Contact kit is also available for applications where an interconnection with external signaling devices is required or desired.
