Product Description

14C106-1U is manufactured by Reliance Electric as part of the FlexPak Plus series. This part is a regenerative controller with an auxiliary panel.

This regenerative controller has a horsepower rating between 0.25-0.75, and the AC Input drive rating is 115. Based on those ratings, the controller has an input KVA in the range of 0.40-1.20. 14C106-1U also features a rated armature current between 2.5-7.5 amps and a D-C armature of 90 volts. The controller has an available field current of 3.0 amps and an available field of 100 volts. The equipment is protected against inverting faults by an armature loop D-C circuit breaker.

The dimensions of all FlexPak Plus Regenerative Controllers are 11.97” (305mm) x 7.93” (201mm) x 8.37” (213mm). The dimensions of the auxiliary panel are 4.75” (111mm) x 8.37” (213mm). The dimensions of the basic controller are 7.22” (184mm) x 8.37” (213mm).

The operator control stations available for remote operation of this drive include separate NEMA rated types 1, 3R, 4, 4X, and 12. If the user wants to control the drive speed with a process controller over a speed range, installation of the Instrument Interface/Preset Speed kit is recommended. For applications requiring the use of a wound field D-C motor, installation of the Field Supply kit is recommended. All modification kits are available CSA certified for consumer convenience.

The Reliance Electric FlexPak Plus controller must be mounted vertically, not horizontally, for proper installation.
