The 14C311 is one of several FlexPack VS drives available from AX Control. This unit is rated at 7 ½ HP and 230 VAC. It is a regenerative controller that has an auxiliary panel. This allows the unit to be expanded with a number of optional plug-in modification kits such as an instrument interface/preset speed kit for controlling drive speed over a speed range or using an adjustable preset speed, or a Dynamic braking kit for fast motor stops. These kits are optional and are not included when you order this part.
The 14C311 offers a number of standard features including a compact open-chassis design that can easily be enclosed in a number of NEMA enclosures. The unit has isolated voltage and current feedbacks, minimum and maximum speed, deceleration rate, acceleration rate, and IR compensation. The unit also includes built-in surge suppressors and a relay in the control circuit to prevent the unit from restarting automatically after any kind of power loss.
