About the 14C53

Reliance Electric’s 14C53 is a basic model of the FlexPak Plus series. It features 5 HP and accepts a control power of 230 V AC. It manages and controls three-phase motor systems, providing a number of protective elements that shield the system from harm and extend system life. It comes with the chassis, power converter, field supply, and regulator. There is also a range of upgrade kits that can broaden the application range of the unit. All of the potential upgrade kits are able to plug into pre-planned connection slots on the main device.

The FlexPak Plus 14C53 is also environmentally hardened so that it can survive in a range of conditions, reducing the amount of wear that the unit experiences. It is capable of surviving altitudes up to 3300 feet above sea level, making it resilient at high altitudes. The chassis/cabinet also allows the 14C53 unit to withstand ambient humidities up to 95% non-condensing. Nonetheless, users should take care to try and mount the device in a location that is free of dirt, dust, strong vibrations, electromagnetic interference, and chemically corrosive agents. Choosing the optimal installation location will ensure that the product continues running for as long as possible.
