About the 14C570
The 14C570 module is a Status/Indicator Kit that was created and manufactured by Reliance Electric. The 14C570 kit was made to be a part of Reliance Electric’s FlexPak series. The 14C570 kit has been discontinued by the original manufacturer, but it may be available in AX Control’s stock in either brand new condition from surplus stock or in refurbished condition. The 14C570 kit is a convenient option for assisting the user in determining whether or not the the main printed circuit boards are working properly. Please note that it is suggested that whoever is using the 14C570 kit be knowledgeable with drive voltage levels whenever the equipment is under regular operation.
The 14C570 kit requires some sort of controller modification, meaning that some work in the form of jumper placement, wiring reconnection, or resistor clipping must be performed.
The 14C570 kit uses an LCD array to indicate the status of each of the drive’s critical functions. In addition to that, the 14C570 kit also uses the LCD array to properly indicate when the drive is shutting down from protective circuit action. Please note that the 14C570 status/indicator kit is designed to be used with FlexPak Plus drives and MiniPak Plus drives and is not compatible with any other drive series.
When installing, be sure to align the 14C570 kit perfectly with the rest of the unit. Misalignment of the 14C570 kit can cause the pins to be incorrectly placed, bent, or possibly even broken.
