About the 1AC4005U
The 1AC4005-U First Generation Three Phase AC VS Drive Controller uses a blank chassis, 5HP, 460 VAC, and is UL Listed/CSA approved. There is a Local Operator’s Control Station on the front of the cabinet on the controller. There are two visible LEDs on the front cabinet of the Local Operator’s Control Station. These LEDs have a specific function. The status of the drive (RUN) and fault condition (IET) can be identified by using these LEDs.
The 1AC4005-U controller has a separated start/stop and function loss circuitry. The controller also has a standard fuse for easy replacement. Besides that, other features include line-to-line and line-to-ground output short circuit protection, a coast-to-rest on stop as standard or ramp-to-rest with a switch change, a torque boost for added starting torque, an automatic correction of output voltage for input voltage fluctuation, and a regenerative voltage limit and motoring current limit. The 1AC4005-U controller operates with standard off-the-shelf NEMA B and synchronous motors.
Three Phase AC VS Drive 1AC4003-U controller also can be purchased alongside a cabinet conversion kit. This kit will allow for the hardware to change from NEMA 1 enclosure to chassis type setting. The kit has a blank local operator’s control station, the chassis enclosure’s top and bottom plates, and a customer interface module. Voltmeters and ammeters also can be purchased separately as an extension to the controller which allows for VAC and current measurement.
