About the 1AC4007U
The 1AC4007-U First Generation Three Phase AC VS Drive Controller uses a blank enclosure, is 7 ½ HP, has a 460 VAC, and is UL Listed/CSA approved. On the front cabinet of the controller, a Local Operator’s Control Station can be found, which enables some functions to be used with the controller. The status of the drive (RUN) and fault condition (IET) can be identified with the existence of two LEDs on the front cabinet of the Local Operator’s Control Station.
The 1AC4007-U controller has features such as a torque boost for added starting torque, an automatic correction of output voltage for input voltage change, a changeable torque V/Hz curve selection, adjustment pots that enable the change of acceleration rate, deceleration rate, maximum and minimum hertz, a torque boost, volts per hertz selector, and a current limit. The controller also comes with a NEMA 1 standard enclosure, and it can be changed for a chassis. The controller operates with standard off-the-shelf NEMA B and synchronous motors.
Three Phase AC VS Drive 1AC4003-U controller has extension options other than the readily available features mentioned. It also comes with a remote operator’s control station. The Remote Operator’s Control Station allows for extended features of the controller such as a start/stop function, a forward/reverse selector, a switch to select between automatic/manual function, a run/jog selector, a speed pot, and an analog frequency meter. The remote operator’s control station needs a blank local operator’s station and a customer interface module in order to function.
