About the 1AC4105U
1AC4105U is a Reliance Electric GP-1200 drive controller. The voltage is 460 VAC, and the horsepower is 5 HP. The controller is UL listed and is enclosed in a NEMA 1 case. The controller pulse width modulation is sine wave. The service factor is 1.0, the displacement power factor is 0.96, and the maximum load is 150% for one minute. The volts/Hz with a 60 Hz base is 6.8 to 16.0 V/Hz and IET has a 200% load. The current limit adjusts from 50 to 150%. Plus or minus 1% is the speed reference to the output frequency. The minimum frequency is 0 to 40 Hz, and the maximum frequency is 15 to 90 Hz. The acceleration adjustment and deceleration adjustment are both 1.5 to 20 seconds. The torque boost is 0 to 80 volts. The line frequency is 50/60 Hz plus or minus 2 Hz and the line voltage variation is between -10% and +10%. The elevation for the controller may not exceed 3300 feet (1000 meters) without derating. The maximum AC line distribution system capacity is 1,000 KVA and 3-phase, with a 25,000 ampere symmetrical fault current capacity.
One controller can run more than one motor at a time. Adhere to the multi-motor application instructions in the user manual. To install the drive, mount the enclosed controller vertically with the input/output terminals at the bottom. The user must provide adequate clearance for air ventilation, at least 4 inches from the top and bottom of the controller and at least 2 inches from the sides of the controller. Make sure the door or other components do not hinder service access. If needed, install a transformer. Next, install on input disconnect. Then, install the motor by verifying that the motor is the right size for the controller. Install an overload protection device with the motor according to NEC requirements. Also, verify that a thermal protection device responsive to motor heat is built into or connected to the motor windings.
