About the 1AC4110U
1AC4110U is a Reliance Electric GP-1200 drive controller. The voltage is 460 VAC, and the horsepower is 10 HP. The controller is UL listed and is enclosed in a NEMA 1 case. Based on the horsepower rating, the controller input KVA is 13.6, the maximum input amps are 17.2, and the maximum output amps are 14.2. The maximum motor sine wave amps are 13.5. The voltmeter connects directly to the controller and measures the output between 0 and 500 VAC. The ammeter uses a current transformer as its input in order to measure current in one of the output lines of the controller. The output terminals of the controller are monitored by the analog Frequency Meter, which indicates the actual output frequency of the controller.
When wiring the drive, verify that the controller nameplate voltage and frequency correspond to the controller’s input power. Provide a transformer between the controller and the plant power supply. Use a tightening torque of 20 in-lbs for wire connections to input terminals and output terminals in the controller. Power wire the controller using only rated 60/75° C copper wire. Follow the interconnection diagram for power wiring instructions. Then install the control and signal wiring by using twisted wire (2 to 3 twists per inch). If shielded wire must be used, the shields must “float.” Following all danger and caution warnings is essential to wiring the controller safely. Do not attempt to set up the controller without professional knowledge of the equipment.
