About the 2GU21007
Reliance Electric designed the 2GU21007 to be a 50/60 Hz AC V*S Drive. Depending on the manufacturing dates of this drive, there is a good probability that it was also sold under the Baldor Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri product names. None of these corporations are still maintaining any type of support for the 2GU21007. AX Control still strives to keep it in stock though. Please check the website for availability options.
The 2GU21007 7½ HP 3-Phase drive in the GP2000 series. This device is included in a NEMA 1 chassis. The 2GU21007 typically runs as a 3-phase AC power source but it does have the capacity to be downshifted to only using a single-phase input power. If you choose to use this drive this way, you still have to maintain a 3-phase motor setup. The power rating for these two types of phases is starkly different. The 3-phase input power rating is 7.5 HP, 230 V, 11.2 KVA, 28.2 max input amps, 21.8 motor sine wave amps max, and a maximum drive output of 24 amps. The power rating for the single-phase input is a 3HP range, 230 V, 5 KVA, 21.6 max input amps, 9.6-amp max motor sine wave, and a max drive output of 10.6 amps.
The 2GU21007 has many of the basic features commonplace to the GP2000 series of AC drives. This drive has 57 adjustments for drive configurations. It has motor current and regenerative voltage limitations. It offers to control PWM. To reduce motor noise, it offers full-spectrum switching. It has a range of 0-400 Hz frequency.
