About the 2GU41005

Reliance Electric created the 2GU41005 to be an AC V*S GP2000 style drive. This drive is a 3-phase 50/60Hz drive. Unlike many other models, the 2GU41005 cannot be downshifted to being single-phase. It is a 5HP @ 0.8PF 6.5 KVA drive. It is housed in a NEMA 1 type enclosure. It has an AC input/output voltage of 460VAC. It has an AC input of 9.9 max amps and an AC output max amperage of 8.2. This drive has a short circuit system rating of 25 kA.

The 2GU41005 drive comes with a few basic features that come standard with all GP2000 drives. It has a digital microprocessor that can adjust and make commands that are repeatable and driftless. It is mostly immune to electromagnetic interference and noise.

The 2GU41005 has a faceplate that has many keys and LEDs. It has speed data up and down keys that allow you to scroll through the data displayed on the display. There is a green start button and a red stop/reset button. There are a trio of buttons that are labeled as set, pgm, and mon. There are a set of LEDs that correspond with keys. These are labeled fwd/rev, run/jog, and auto/man. There are two remote and local control LEDs. There is a pgm no/monitor LED indicator and a program enable Indicator.

The 2GU41005 uses the Reliance Electric Instruction Manual D2-3166. This drive may have also been sold by ABB and Baldor Reliance at one point, but this drive no longer receives support from any of the original manufacturing companies. AX Control does try to keep this drive in stock though, so please see our website for availability and shipping options.
