About the 2GU51005

The 2GU51005 is a 3-Phase GP2000 AC V*S Drive drive made by Reliance Electric. It may have also been sold by Baldor Reliance and ABB depending on when it was in production. It is no longer being manufactured by these companies, but AX Control tries to keep it in stock as either a refurbished or new surplus part. Please see our website for more information about its availability.

The 2GU51005 is a 3-5HP 6.2-7.5 KVA 50/60Hz 3-Phase drive. This motor is protected by a NEMA 1 enclosure. It has an AC input and an output of 575 volts. It has an AC input max amperage of 7.5 and an AC output max amperage of 6.2. This drive has a short circuit system rating of 25kA and a maximum sine wave of 5.6 amps. It has a frequency range between 0-400Hz. This drive should only be used in temperatures between +/-10 to +/-40 degrees Celsius and a 5-95% relative humidity. This device should also avoid chlorine, salt, and other corrosive substances to prevent any type of equipment damage.

The 2GU51005 has the ability to run two or more motors. If you choose to do this, each one of the motors needs a separate overload protection device. To mount this drive into place, place it vertically so that the input and output terminals are on the bottom. It is important to make sure it has enough air flow and to place it in a spot where its performance will not be interfered with by other machinery.
