The 0-56921-403AA is a printed circuit board card attachment, designed to be mounted to a GV3000 drive by a ribbon cable. The ControlNet network is able to provide different commands for the 0-56921-403AA unit to use. There are six commands; Start, Stop, Reset, Total Control, and a method of fault coding the unit. While under the 0-56921-403AA card’s control, the GV3000 drive is marked as a node in the ControlNet network.

The 0-56921-403AA is outfitted with a flash based memory. This provides operators on site with an easy to access way of updating the unit’s firmware version. An RS-232C serial communication module is integrated into the unit’s frame, able to interface with a serial programming connector.

The 0-56921-403AA is also outfitted with two BNC connectors for redundant communication abilities. The RJ-45 port is used for node access. There are also a trio of LED lights to indicate device status to the users.
