Product Description

Reliance Electric created a 0-56921-604 to be a Regulator Board for a GV3000/SE AC Drive. This regulator board version can be installed into a wide selection of GV3000 variable frequency drives and simply needs a power module identification (P.998) in order to match the drive's HP and Voltage. The regulator board holds all the application specific parameters, shows any fault codes or error codes, and displays the metrics during operation in the drive. 

The 0-56921-604 is a regulator printed circuit board. This board is the sixth version of this board that was put into production. It is a replacement for one of the regulators that come standard in a controller. When trying to mount this board, it is a good idea to unmount the drive if it is mounted into a panel because it will make it easier to install the regulator. You should also make note of the terminal wire and jumper positions on the original board so that you connect the new board using those settings.  

The 0-56921-604 is connected to the back of the keypad that’s located in the center of the controller. There is a mounting bracket on the keypad that you can slide the regulator into. Make sure the 7-segment LED display on the regulator is showing on the keypad before you attach any of the mounting hardware to the regulator. Once it is mounted, you can connect the corresponding ribbon cable to the regulator. The regulator is then connected to the current feedback PCB using a 26-pin ribbon cable. There is an optional board that can connect to the regulator that is mounted behind it.  

Make sure you wear an antistatic wristband when dealing with the internal components of the GV3000/SE controller to prevent any type of circuitry damage.
