The 0-56947-40B Gate Driver PBC is outfitted with an array of isolated gate bipolar transistors. When this unit is sent pulse-width modulated signals from the regulator board, it switches the IGBTs, and produces a PWM waveform, which corresponds based on the type of drive regulation setting. With Flux Vector Control, the waveform is based on the speed reference, while V/Hz regulation corresponds to the frequency.
