About the 10V2250
Reliance Electric released the 10V2250 as a portion of the GV3000 series of AC Drives. This drive is 10HP and 50/60Hz. This drive was possibly also produced and sold by Baldor Reliance or ABB. It depends on when the drive was actually being mass-produced. This is version 5.0 of this drive and as a result, is no longer being supported by Reliance or the other companies because it has been replaced by newer models. AX Control does still attempt to keep this version of this drive in stock.
The 10V2250 is 15.5 KVA and 200-230 VAC. This drive has a maximum input amps of 39 A and a max output amps of 35 A. It also has a full load power loss of around 250W. This drive feature dual regulation capabilities including both V/Hz and/or vector regulation. When using typical V/Hz regulation, this drive can maintain a 110% output current. When the drive uses vector regulation, it is capable of a 150% overload that can be achieved for 1 minute.
The 10V2250 is surrounded by a NEMA 12 type enclosure. There are no vents on this enclosure and should be used in indoor environments that need a dust/drip-tight enclosure. This chassis is enclosing the interior drive components. These pieces include a keypad (membrane switch with a bracket), a duo of fan assemblies, a GVPB board, PISC PCB, and a regulator board. The keypad has a bracket that is attached to it. This bracket can house the regulator board directly behind the keypad so that the LED display on the regulator can be seen on the keypad.
It is important to note that as with many refurbished or vintage automated drives, the 10V2250 AC drive user may have to work through an occasional function fault. The 10V2250 AC drive specifically may be prone to a singular fault in the overcurrent at DC braking fault. This fault occurs due to an inflated DC voltage present in the drive, and can be corrected by checking the parameters H.006 and H.007 for proper settings.
