Product Description

This drive is classified as an "Alternating Current drive" manufactured for Reliance Premium's GV3000 series of automated drive. This model is considered a member of the GV300 legacy series family, as it could have potentially been sold by a number of different retailers following its discontinuation by the original, Reliance Electric. Depending on the model year of the GV3000 drive, it could have been created by Reliance Electric, Baldor Electric, ABB, or Rockwell Automation. Hardware Tips and Specifications

During the operation of the 126ET4060 drive the regulation will be performed through a microprocessor on the regulator board. The operation of the drive can be adjusted by the parameters that will be adjusted through the keypad on the front panel of the model. All information regarding the regulator board and its function can be found in the attached D2-3360-5 GV3000/SE AC Drive Hardware Reference, Installation, and Troubleshooting Manual in the second chapter. a 3-phase drive, the 126ET4060 drive does feature a 6.0 regulator version, compatible with a number of effective regulator boards, as described below. This drive specifically features an input voltage of 380-460 VAC, which supports the drive's 7.5 HP horsepower rating. This drive comes equipped with a standard IP20-type enclosure, allowing for protection against solid objects no smaller than 12.5 mm (like a human finger). Please note that the IP20 protective chassis associated with this drive is not protectant against items smaller than this 12.5mm berth, like a screwdriver or copper wire. With a waterproofing rating of 0 on the IP scale, this drive is not recommended for outdoor installation or use, and is not considered dust-proof. For more information on the IP20 protective rating, reference official retailer NEMA's handy blog post here; https://www.nemaenclosures.com/blog/ingress-protection-ratings/.

Software Tips and Specifications

There are two different startup procedures depending on the regulation of the device, this device, can operate on Volts/Hertz (V/Hz) or Vector Regulation. The D2-3426-2 GV3000/SE AC General Purpose (Volts/Hertz) and Vector Duty Bookshelf Drive Software Start-Up and Reference Manual Version 6.06 from Reliance Electric provides detailed information regarding the start-up procedure; step-by-step instructions for every procedure which includes, running the drive, accessing the program mode, configuring the parameters for both V/Hz and General modes, checking the motor rotation direction, powering up, and checking monitor mode displays will be provided in the aforementioned manual in the first chapter. Please note that the first chapter in the D2-3426-2 is strictly for Volts/Hertz regulation, information on how to start up the device in Vector regulation is found in the second chapter.

A number of common faults can possibly inconvenience the 126ET4060 drive owner, including the overspeed fault. This fault, represented by the fault code OSP on this drive's built-in keypad display, occurs due to an RPM above a 130% maximum speed, with a concurrent non-optimized speed regulator response. To rectify the drive overspeed fault and return to regular drive functioning, several drive parameters must be checked; including those describing encoder ppr, motor poles, base frequency, motor nameplate RPM speed, and reg. proportional integral gain. A more detailed guide on GV3000 fault code troubleshooting is available online with Reliance Electrics' instruction manual D2-3426 & D2-3427.
