The 15V4240 model of the GV3000 series is a 15 horsepower rated, 460 volt motor control drive. AX Control Inc. is able to provide an inventory of the 15V4240, both as a brand new surplus product, and as a secondhand, reconditioned and totally optimized product.
The GV3000 AC Drives are built as series with the capability to control and alter the parameters of an industrial motor unit. This ranges between basic, simplistic fan motors, as well as complex systems, like industrial web processing networks. The GV3000 series is outfitted to operate in three separate motor control modes. There are the two vector operational modes, as well as the scalar general purpose, voltage and frequency mode. The two vector options are the FVC and SVC. The FVC is flux vector control, with an acceptance of encoder attachment signals. The SVC, sensorless vector control, operates without accepting the encoder attachment signals.
The 15V4240 AC Drive is able to control motors with a precise and accurate control and management of the motor’s torque, speed (able to go from 0 RPM to the max speed), and the motor’s direction as well.
The 15V4240 is outfitted with an integrated keypad and informational text display. The display provides operators with information about the motor, as well as the drive’s status. There is a set of LED lights that display the status. There are seven options; Remote, Running, Jog, Automatic, Forward, Reverse, and Program.
