AX Control Inc. is able to provide several devices originally produced by the electromechanical production line from Reliance Electric Ltd. These units are a part of the Reliance Electric line of ControlNet Network Communication Option cards, the M/N 2CN3000 series. This unit is listed under the numerical identification of “179155.”

The M/N 2CN3000 series is designed as an attachment to the GV3000 circuit board series. These two circuit board cards can be joined together by a ribbon cable, connecting both to the ControlNet network. The 179155 unit can successfully be mounted within a GV3000 circuit board as an attachment, which uses much less space, allowing for more hardware within the workplace.

The 179155 is outfitted with a standard set of flash memory to properly handle the latest version of the firmware installed within it. It is able to be efficiently and easily updated without needing to be removed from the GV3000 mount it is attached to. In order to upgrade the firmware, an operator simply needs to connect a serial programming device to the serial port, an RS-232C.

The other connection ports integrated into the 179155 board’s frame include a pair of BNC connector ports. These connectors provide this model with its redundant communication capabilities. There is also the RJ-45 connector as well, which enables the unit to grant access to its programming nodes.
