About the 20V4140

The 20V4140 is a 20 HP GV3000 AC Power Module and has a regulator version 4.0. The voltage input on the 20V4140 model is 380-460 VAC, which is the most common input voltage used for VFDs. It has an output of 27 amps with a full power loss wattage of 600 W. The dimensions of this unit are 11.34” wide, 18.23” tall, and 9.37” thick, with an approximate weight of 35 lbs. The input line fuse used with this model is 55 A.

The 20V4140 is encased in NEMA 1 enclosure. It is the more rectangular version of this particular type of enclosure. This enclosure has air vents and a communications access door that leads to the RS-232 9-pin female port located on the regulator PCB for easy access rather than removing the entire cover.

The 20V4140 has many a variety of internal components. It has an internal and external fan assembly, gate driver PCB, power supply PCB, power PCB, regulator PCB, capacitor PCB, current feedback PCB, and a built-in keypad with a mounting bracket for the regulator board. The 20V4140 is a well designed drive and all parameters are easily modifiable from the local keypad. The reason we are giving this drive only 4 stars is that the 4.0 version regulator board has since been replaced by the newer 5.0 and 6.0 models. The drive part numbers for these updated models are 20V4150 and 20V4160 - AX Control Technician
