About the 20V4150
Drive number 20V4150 is part of the GV3000 series from Reliance Electric. This module will be enclosed in a NEMA 1 rating. The NEMA 1 enclosure is vented, which helps the user access the communication ports within the drive because it has a communication access door; the enclosure is recommended to be used in general-purpose indoor applications. The 20V4150 drive is used with vector and or volts/hertz (V/Hz) Regulation in the 5.0 version. The operating voltage on this model is 380-460. All of these components are easily identifiable when referring to Figure 2.1 in the D2-3340 GV3000 AC Power Modules Hardware Reference, Installation, and Troubleshooting Instruction guide, which is a part breakdown.
Twelve primary components will make up the 20V4150 module. The components are as follows:
- a fan wire harness
- a diode bridge
- an IGBT module
- an internal fan assembly
- a current feedback printed circuit board
- a power printed circuit board
- a power supply printed circuit board
- a gate driver printed circuit board
- a membrane switch
- a capacitor printed circuit board or input capacitors
- and a regulator printed circuit board

The 20V4150 model has the capability to be used with the optional kits to extend the functionality of the drive. Some of the kits are a snubber transistor, a line regeneration unit, and a snubber resistor braking kit. When referring to Table 2.2 in the D2-3340 instructional manual, make sure that you carefully observe what drives the kits can and cannot be used with, as there are some limitations to what kit can be used with what drive.
