The 20V4251 is a 20 HP GV3000/SE Reliance Electric Drive. This drive may have also been sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance at one point during its production years, but it is no longer being supported by these companies. It may be hard to find, but AX Control still attempts to keep it stocked.
The 20V4251 is a 380-460 VAC drive that has an input amps of 32.7, a 26.1 input KVA, and an output amperage of 27 @ 8 kHz. It has a 600-watt power loss value.
The 20V4251 is protected by a NEMA 12 enclosure. It is meant to be in an indoor environment that needs a drip/dust-tight enclosure. It protects the drive from dust, fibers, lint, dripping water, and noncorrosive liquids. It is also resistant to condensation.
The 20V4251 is made up of many important internal components. It has two fan assemblies (one internal and one external), a membrane switch (keypad with a mounting bracket), power PCB, current feedback board, capacitor PCB with attached input capacitors, regulator PCB, diode bridge, gate driver PCB, IGBT module, fan wire harness, and a power supply PCB. The built-in keypad has a mounting bracket attached to it where the regulator board slides in and is positioned so that its LED display, user I/O terminal strip, and RS-232C connection port can be seen. The regulator board connects to the power module using a 26-pin ribbon cable. It has two optional connections: a 34-pin ribbon cable that connects to an option board and an OIM connector. The keypad connects to the regulator using the J9 connection port.
