About the 240ER4060
Equipped with an option board connector, the GV3000/SE AC Bookshelf Drive from Reliance Electric, model 240ER4060l, uses the option board connector to help communicate and attach more option boards, some of which are as follows:
These boards are optional and can be used to help with the communication of parallel bus connections and communication between other devices within Reliance Electric.
Input line branch circuit fuses are used on the 240ER4060 drive to ensure the protection of the attached input power lines. The nominal and maximum external fuses used for the defense are a nominal value of forty amperes and a maximum value of fifty amperes. This model does not have a choke but an alternate current input of thirty-one amperes. Please note that the circuits as mentioned earlier, currents, or fuses are the only line branches needed and no other load can be applied to the fuse circuit, or faults/errors can occur during the operation.
A terminal strip is available on the 240ER4060 model which can provide several different connections to customer input/output (I/O) devices; the terminals used for customer I/O devices are status relay connections at terminals 28-31, snubber resistor braking control connections at terminals 26-27, twenty-four volts of direct current inputs connections at terminals 16-25, analog torque/speed reference connections at terminals 12-15, analog output connections at terminals 10-11, encoder connections at terminal 4-9, and finally RS232 connections at terminals 1-3. All information regarding how these terminals and their associated connection work can be found in the GV3000/SE AC Drive, Hardware Reference, Installation, and Troubleshooting Instruction Guide D2-3360-5 which will be attached above.
