About the 25G4150
The 25G4150 is an AC PWM (pulse-width-modulation) drive that was initially created by Reliance Electric. It is a 25HP 380-460 VAC GV3000 power module. It could have been also marketed and sold as a part of the Baldor Reliance and/or ABB product lines. It is version 5.0 of this drive which is now largely unsupported by the original manufacturers. Please check AX Control’s website to find out about the availability of a refurbished or new surplus 25G4150.
The 25G4150 was built primarily to control different aspects of a motor. It has a NEMA 1 style enclosure rating which means that it is supposed to be used in an indoor setting. It comes with air vents in its sides to help promote airflow to the internal drive components. It also has a small hatch that allows the user access to an RS-232 port. It is advisable to keep this drive away from various liquids and corrosive materials.
The 25G4150 has several physical components that include a fan and a fan assembly, keypad, regulator board, a current feedback card, diode bridge, gate driver card, capacitors, and a capacitor card. The keypad and regulator are connected together. There is a bracket attached to the keypad that the regulator can slide into. The regulator is behind the keypad so that the display board on the regulator can be seen on the keypad. The keypad runs a cable to the regulator and connects via the J9 port. The regulator also features a terminal strip that a user can connect I/O to.
