About the 25G4160
The 25G4160 is a Reliance Electric GV3000/SE 25HP Drive. This part may have also been in production under the ABB and Baldor Electric production lines.
The 25G4160 is a 3-Phase 50/60Hz 29.5 KVA drive that has the ability to use either vector regulation or V/Hz regulation. Most drives use the V/Hz type of regulation for their standard means of operation. However, if the user does swap to vector regulation it is possible to have an output current capacity of 150% for 1 minute. The input voltage for this device is 380-460 VAC (+/-10%). It is rated at 37 input amps and 30.4 output amps. It has a wattage of 600 for its full load power loss watts.
The 25G4160 is protected by a NEMA 1 style chassis. It is meant for indoor use only and has a small door on the front where the user can access an RS-232 serial communications port. This chassis is covering many different main drive components. These include a keypad/display, gate driver, IGBT PCB, diode bridge, two fan assemblies (one internal) with a wire harness, regulator PCB, input capacitors with a capacitor card, current feedback PCB, power supply, and a power PCB.
There is a keypad on the 25G4160. This keypad and display have many different components on it. There are many LEDs that indicated the drive status and mode. There are 14 total single LEDS and 1 7-segment LED that has 4-digits. This keypad also has a green start key and a red stop/reset key. There are two arrow keys and 5 keys that are labeled run/jog, program, enter, auto/man, and forward/reverse.
