About the 2V2160
The 2V2160 is a Reliance Electric 2HP 200-230VAC 3-Phase GV3000-SE AC Drive. This drive could have also been made by Baldor Reliance and ABB at one point during the years it was being manufactured.
The 2V2160 is rated 3.7 KVA with a 100-watt power loss. It has a max input of 9.4A and a maximum output amperage of 8.5. This drive should use a fuse that has an input AC rating of 15A. This type of device is considered to be a PWM (pulse-width-modulation) drive. This drive has the ability to swap between the standard general-purpose (V/Hz) regulation and vector regulation. When the vector option is chosen, the drive can have a 150% output current rating for 1 minute.
The 2V2160 comes standard with a NEMA type 1 chassis. This type of enclosure has air vents which help to ensure that proper airflow to the internal components is being maintained. This chassis also has a small door on the front that grants the user access to the RS-232 communications port on the regulator board. The port can be used to connect a PC directly to the drive.
The 2V2160 has many features that make up its internal structure. It has 2 fan assemblies (one is internal), a keypad with a bracket mount, regulator PCB, PISC PCB, and a GVPB PCB. The regulator board has the ability to be mounted behind the keypad. It slides into the bracket on the keypad and the keypad can then connect to the regulator using a cable running to the J9 connector.
