About the 300ER4060
The 300ER4060 bookshelf drive is equipped with a variety of different parameters, some of the parameters are P.048 for V/Hz or Vector Mode Regulation, P.043 Fault Auto Reset Attempts, P.020 Jog Speed Reference, and many more. The P.048 parameter can be used to select which drive regulator type will be used which can be volts/hertz or vector. The volts/hertz (V/Hz) control will provide open-loop volts per the hertz regulation which is best used in general-use applications. The vector control on this drive can be used in sensorless vector controls or flux vector control. More information on these parameters can be located in the Reliance Electric GV3000/SE AC General Purpose and Vector Drive Instruction Manual.
A keypad is available on the front of the 300ER4060 drive which is used to operate and program the drive itself. The top portion of the keypad has a screen that is used to designate the parameter values, the error codes, as well as the drive parameters, some of which have already been mentioned in the above paragraph. There are a total of fourteen singular LEDs on the keypad which indicate the operating and status mode of the 300ER4060 drive; the LEDs can also be used to identify the drive outputs of which the values will be displayed on the display.
This model can be programmed to supply regulation of the flux vector control (FVC) but to do so an encoder must be installed on the motor. The connections on the terminal board needed to provide the encoding will be connected to terminals four through nine on the regulator board's terminal strip.
