About the 30V4151
Reliance Electric produced the 30V4151 as a digital Pulse-width-modulation GV3000 AC Drive that is 30HP and 380-460 VAC. While initially designed by Reliance Electric, it could have also been offered for sale through ABB or Baldor Reliance.
The 30V4151 has a 44 amp input/39 amp output at 8 kHz. It is rated 3-Phase, 50/60 Hz, and 35 KVA with a total full load power loss of 800 watts. This drive has the capacity to provide closed-loop or open-loop vector control or for volt/hertz control. It has a torque control response of 180-220 Hz and a service factor of 1.0. It has a torque linearity of +/- 3% with an optimal parameter setting. It can use a carrier frequency from 2-8Hz and that is software selectable. It can have a maximum motor lead length of 76 meters. This drive has a line voltage variation of +/- 10% and a displacement factor of 0.96. This drive has a speed that can adjust from 0 RPM to max speed. It has an analog speed reference accuracy of 0.5%.
The 30V4151 comes in a standard NEMA 1 chassis. This enclosure maintains air vents which assist in airflow circulating to the interior modules of the drive. The user can make a direct PC to drive connection using an RS-232 cable to run to a port that is located behind a small door on the chassis. This drive should only be used in indoor locations. This drive should be operated only in a non-condensing humidity range of 5-95% and a temperature of 0 to +40 degrees Celsius.
