About the 3MV40010
The 3MV40010 is a 10 HP GV3000 Drive that was initially created by Reliance Electric. It may have been sold by Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor Reliance at one point, but it has since been discontinued by these companies. AX Control does try to keep the 3MV40010 in stock, but please contact us directly for its availability. The 3MV40010 is 460V and 14.6 amps.
The 3MV40010 is a rectangular device that has many features. It has a keypad and display user interface. It has a 4 character 7-segment LED display. Below the display are a series of 14 LED indicators that display the drive’s status. These are labeled Password, Torque, Kw, Hz, Amps, Volts, RPM, Running, Remote, Jog, Auto, Forward, Reverse, and Program. There are a total of nine tactile keys on the keypad. There are two up/down arrow keys, Start key, Enter key, Auto/Man key, Run/Jog key, Stop/Reset key, Program key, and a Forward/Reverse key. When you remove the faceplate of the drive, you can see the 9-pin RS-232 female connection and a terminal strip that is attached to the regulator board. You can also see three red varistors and another I/O terminal strip at the bottom of the drive. There are four large open holes on the bottom of the drive that wiring can be run through.
