About the 55ET4060
The Reliance Electric GV3000/SE Bookshelf Drive 55ET4060 operates at a voltage range of three hundred and eighty to four hundred and sixty volts and has a CE filter. The Volts/Hertz current rating on this drive is denoted by the first two characters in the model number, in this case, the current rating is 5.5 amperes. There is a European stock number associated with this drive which is 896.03.31, the last two numbers in this code indicate that the model has a built-in CE filter, DC bus terminals, and braking resistor circuits.
Optional reactors and transformers can be installed with the bookshelf drive. Typically the input isolation transformers installed with the 55ET4060 drive will eliminate line noise from the drive back to the incoming power source, damaging currents that could potentially develop if one of the points inside the drive becomes grounded, and damaging line voltage transients from reaching the drive. Refer to chapter five of the D2-3427-3 Manual for information regarding guidelines on how to install the isolation transformer.
When an error occurs on the device the faults and alarms will be displayed on the front display of the 55ET4060 drive. When an alarm condition occurs the drive will remain on and running while a two or three-digit alarm code flashes on the display. When a fault occurs on the drive the drive will stop through a coast-to-rest stop while a two or three-digit alarm flashes on the display.
If a measurement of the DC bus voltage is needed then an isolated multimeter is required to also help with resistance checks.
