About the 5V4150
The 5V4150 is a Reliance Electric 5 HP AC Drive. It was initially created to be part of the GV3000 series of drives and may have also been sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance.
The 5V4150 has an input of 380/460 VAC, 9.9 amps, 50/60 Hz, and is 3-Phase. It has an output value of 380-460 VAC and 8.2 amps. It has a 30 kA short circuit rating and a 4 kW rating.
The 5V4150 has a NEMA 1 enclosure. There is a small door on the enclosure faceplate that can give the user access to an RS-232 9-pin female port that is located on the regulator card. When the user removes the enclosure faceplate, it grants them access to the RS-232 port and two terminal strips. Once the wiring is set on the terminal strips, it can then be run to other devices through three wire entry grommets. On the top of the enclosure is an air circulation fan that forces air to the internal drive circuitry.
The 5V4150 has a user interface that has a 7-segment 4-digit display, 14 LED indicators, and a 9-button keypad. The 14 LEDs are labeled Password, Torque, Program, Reverse, Kw, Hz, Forward, Auto, Amps, Jog, Volts, Running, Speed, Remote, and Volts. These LEDs indicators show the drive’s status values. There are two up/down keys and seven other keys that are labeled Start, Forward/Reverse, Stop/Reset, Enter, Run/Jog, Auto/Man, and Program. On the right side of the drive, just below the main product label, is a label that displays the drive’s fault codes and what they mean.
