About the 5V4151
Module number 5V4151 is one of the AC power modules manufactured by Reliance Electric as part of the GV3000 Series. The input voltage that this power module operates on is 380-460 VAC. The 51 at the end of the part number indicates that the regulation is V/Hz (volts/hertz) and Vector. When the module is operating in vector regulation the output current capacity will be 150% for one minute with the V/Hz regulation having a continuous output current capability of 110%. The 5V4151 module uses 5 HP to properly operate and will always remain under that of less than or equal to 50 HP when the part number has a V following the first number in the module code. The input kilovolt-amperes associated with this module are 7.9 KVA.
One of the major components of the 5V4151 module is the regulator board. One part of the regulator board is the terminal strip which is mainly used for connecting customer I/O devices.
There are thirty-one terminals available on the terminal strip and are grouped by operating connector types, the connection groups are as follows, terminals 28-31 operate the status relay connections, terminals 4-9 operate the pulse tachometer connector, terminals 1-3 operate RS232 connections, terminals 10-11 operate the analog output connections, terminals 12-15 operate the torque/speed reference connection, terminals 26 and 27 operate the snubber resistor braking control connections, and terminals 16-25 operates 24 V D-C digital input connections. The latter-mentioned terminals, 16-27, are only available with 1-60 HP regulator boards which the 5V4151 module will use.
For more information on the remaining components of the 5V4151 regulator board refer to chapter two section seven of the D2-3340-1 GV3000 AC Power Modules Hardware Reference, Installation, and Troubleshooting Manual for a full description of the regulator board and all of its remaining components and functions.
