The applications that the 790.36.20 model AC Drive is designed for ranges from simplistic functions, such as a pump unit or a basic fan, to more complex industrial systems.
The standard features within the 790.36.20 unit include a series of three operational modes. There is the general purpose mode, which simply utilizes a scalar voltage over hertz method of power control. Then there are the two vector based modes of control; sensorless vector control, and flux vector control. These three control modes are able to provide operators with an efficient means to provide functionality without the need to install expensive, complex option boards.
The 790.36.20 AC Drive is outfitted with an integrated keypad, which is equipped with an LED display with seven segments. This display provides operators quick access to vital diagnostic information, such as the 790.36.20 unit’s output frequency (hertz), the rotations per minute, the kilowatt level, as well as the controlled motor’s voltage, current and percentage of torque. The drive’s status is displayed as well, ranging between seven different statuses (Auto, Forward, Reverse, Jog, Remote, Running, and Program).
