Product Description
The 896.07.80, which can also be found under the part number 10V4160, is a 10HP GV3000/SE Drive. It was initially made by Reliance Electric and later probably mass-produced by ABB or Baldor Reliance.
The 896.07.80 is version 6.04 of this drive to be produced. It is a 380-460 VAC 50/60 HZ 3-Phase PWM (or pulse-width-modulated) drive. It has the power to flip-flop between vector and standard V/Hz regulation. It has an input of 16.8A and 13.4KVA. It has an output of 14.2A at 2, 4, or 8 kHz. This drive is 20 lbs. and 11.05” wide, 13.32” tall, and 7.87” thick.
This drive is protected by a NEMA 1/IP20 style enclosure. It is not meant for outside operations because it has air vents on its bottom and is not drip/dust-tight. It has a small flap on the front slightly below and to the left of the keypad. This flap grants the user access to an RS-232 port that is on the regulator PCB. On the backside of the enclosure are a pair of exposed fans that help to facilitate air flowing to the internal circuitry of the drive.
The keypad on the 896.07.80 is built-in and comes standard on all version 6.04 GE3000-SE models. It has a display port on its top left corner that allows the user to see the alpha-numeric 7-segment 4-digit LED display panel that is located on the regulator board. Below that are 14 red LED indicators that show the drive status and operating mode of the drive. There are 9 keys on the keypad.
