There is also a European stock number for this drive which is model number 896.02.11. All of the part numbers are important in identifying the drive identification. The ER in the US model number is used for identifying what type of bookshelf drive it is either with or without a CE filter this model does not have a CE filter. The current rating for this model is 3.8 amperes which is denoted by the 38 at the beginning of the US model number.
