About the HEC-GV3-DN
HEC-GV3-DN
This unit is designated as a unit within the Reliance Electric GV3000 series of motor control drives. These motor control drives are built with a wide variety of internal components and hardware, and are designed to provide vector-based regulation and control to low voltage motors. These units were developed by the Reliance Electric Limited division of electromechanical devices.
This component is designated as the HEC-GV3-DN, and was developed originally by Horner Electric, and was built to be outfitted into a Reliance Electric GV3000 drive. This module is a DeviceNet Network Communication Option Board, and allows the drive to be upgraded to feature DeviceNet capability. The HEC-GV3-DN option board runs as a DeviceNet slave node, and it able to provide the GV3000 with the ability to communicate over a DeviceNet network, with a host of industrial controller modules. Both the control and monitor functions are easily done while utilizing a DeviceNet master scanner.
The HEC-GV3-DN is mounted into a GV3000 drive below the unit’s regulator board module. It is connected to the regulator board via a standard ribbon cable parallel bus port. The HEC-GV3-DN is powered through the GV3000 drive’s own power supply.
AX Control Inc. is able to provide units of the HEC-GV3-DN Communication Option Board, both unused surplus units, and secondhand, totally reconditioned units.
