About the HEC-GV3-DNK
HEC-GV3-DNK
The HEC-GV3-DNK is a model that was developed in part by both Reliance Electric Ltd. and Horner Electric. This unit is a part of the line of motor control units designated as the GV3000 series, which is now no longer in production from Reliance Electric Ltd’s electromechanical division.
The GV3000 drives were built for vector regulation and general purpose voltage and frequency regulation of the controlled motor. The HEC-GV3-DNK however is built as an internal component part to provide the unit with a particular setup.
The HEC-GV3-DNK is designated as a DeviceNet Network Communication Option printed circuit board. The main functions that the HEC-GV3-DNK model is outfitted to provide includes the capability to upgrade the GV3000 drive into a DeviceNet capable unit. It becomes able to connect over the DeviceNet network once the HEC-GV3-DNK is installed and identified to the network as a DeviceNet slave node.
The HEC-GV3-DNK is able to mounted just under the GV3000’s standard regulator board, and is able to be connected to it with a ribbon cable. In order to attach the ribbon cable from the HEC-GV3-DNK to the regulator board, connect the ribbon to the parallel bus port. This unit is kept active via the GV3000’s power intake.
The HEC-GV3-DNK is available from AX Control Inc.’s inventory, both in stock as a part of our unused surplus devices as well as our secondhand, pre-owned and completely reconditioned hardware. We offer a comprehensive warranty to cover all of our products we sell.
