About the 6VN1-260TA
6VN1-260TA is a GV6000 AC Drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The continuous amps are 260. This drive has a 325 VDC input (with a pre-charge) and is enclosed in a NEMA 1 enclosure. A braking transistor comes standard on this unit. The I/O is 24 VDC.
If the drive does not respond to changes in command speed, this may be indicated in a number of ways. If there is no indication, an incorrect reference source has been programmed. This can be connected by checking the speed reference source and or reprogramming the speed reference A select. If the OIM Status Line LCD indicates “at speed” and the output is 0 Hz, no value is coming from the source of the command. This can be corrected wither by checking the wiring if the source is an analog input, or checking the command speed for the correct source.
If the motor and/or drive will not accelerate to the command speed, this may be indicated a number of ways. This may occur if the acceleration time is excessive because there is an incorrect value in Acceleration Time. If the drive slows or stops due to being forced into a current limit, there is either excess load or a short acceleration time. To correct this issue, reduce the load, reprogram the acceleration time, and/or check the Drive Status 2, bit 10 to check if the drive is in current limit. If the speed command source or value is not as expected, check for the proper speed command. If the programming is preventing the drive output from exceeding limiting values, reprogram maximum speed and maximum frequency.
