About the 3DB1004
3DB1004 is a HR2000 series Dynamic Braking Kit with a coil voltage of 120 VAC. This kit is designed by Reliance Electric as a mechanism for reducing stopping time below that obtained by coasting. This unit includes an output contactor and DB resistors and can be mounted directly to the bottom of the controller. 3DB1004 also includes a thermostat mounted to the resistors, which protects the controller from cyclical operation that causes overheating. The control logic required to operate this kit is not included. The kit can operate with controllers rated between 1 and 4 HP.
