About the 3DB3004
Reliance Electric manufactures 3DB3004, a Dynamic Braking Kit that is part of the HR2000 series of controllers. The coil voltage is 230 VAC, and the horsepower is 1-4 HP. To protect the kit and controller from overheating, a thermostat is mounted to the kit resistors. This kit is designed to reduce stopping time below the time possible with coasting. Mount the kit to the bottom of the controller. This unit includes DB resistors and an output contactor, but it does not include the required control logic.
