About the 3RA2015U
3RA2015U is an HR2000 drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The controller includes many regulator pots. “OL” is the inverse time overload, “CL” is the maximum instantaneous current output, “SG” is the speed loop gain, “SZ” is the speed offset (sets the motor speed with minimum reference for Speed and Torque modes), “DEC is the deceleration rate, “FRQ” is the notch filter frequency, “OS” is the overspeed IET setting, “SR” is the input reference gain, “TST” is the reference input in test mode, “ACC” is the acceleration rate, “QF” is the notch filter Q factor, and “PG” adjusts the minimum speed detection circuit in Speed/Torque mode and adjusts the position loop gain in Position mode.
The controller also includes many regulator switches. “TST” is the test mode, “SI” is the speed loop integral, “OP” is the acceleration/deceleration rate, “DIR is the direction in Position mode, “DV” is the pulse divider, “MDE is the regulator mode, “PG is the motor/encoder, “OL” is the maximum overload, “AP” is the P or PI speed loop, “BBK” is the base drive disable, and “INS” is the Inspection/Test mode. Three regulator jumpers are present on the controller.
Optional features of the drive controller include the common bus, the input disconnect kit, cables for motor-mounted encoders and controller connectors to terminal boards, the encoder isolation/buffer kit, the speed and load meters, the encoder tester, the exercise module, and the D-C snubber resistors. The controller is UL listed to UL508 standards. For increased reliability, the controller features a single-board, microprocessor-based regulator and the ability to restart from any speed and direction.
