About the B14H1060
B14H1060 is manufactured by Reliance Electric as a motor that fits with the drives in the HR2000 series. The horsepower is 2, the continuous torque rating is 63 in-lbs, the base speed is 2000 prm, and the inertia is 0.021 lb. in s^2. The associated chassis controller is 3RA2002. The flange mounting is 140TC with feet. This motor is enclosed in a TENV enclosure.
The motor must be stored away from moisture. If dry conditions have not been maintained, dry the motor thoroughly before attempting installation. The motor must be the appropriate size to use with the controller. It will be extremely difficult to turn the shaft if the motor leads U, V, and W are shorted together. To insure free rotation of the motor, turn the shaft by hand (while motor leads are not touching). To prevent vibration, ensure that the motor’s foundation is sufficiently rigid. When mounting the motor to the driven machine, ensure that they are properly aligned in order to minimize unnecessary motor loading from shaft misalignment. The user must install a protective guard around all exposed rotating parts.
When providing appropriate grounding, connect suitable equipment grounding conductor or bonding jumper to the motor frame, the remote operator’s control station (if used), the input power transformer (if used), and the controller enclosure. Next, connect the motor leads. Connect the normally closed motor thermostat to pins 40 and 41 of connector 2CN as shown in the user manual. CAUTION: The controller will not stop when the contact is open in the motor thermostat is not properly wired.
