B14H1062 is an HR2000 motor that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. This motor has a horsepower rating of 4 HP and comes complete with a special mounting flange. The speed is 2000 RPM. It is important to provide this motor with the appropriate grounding. The motor has rotating parts that must be covered with a guard for user safety. When storing the motor, be sure to maintain dry conditions. If the motor is not dry when the user wants to install it, allow the motor to dry completely before attempting installation. Follow all caution warnings in the user manual related to hazardous elements of this motor.
Do not couple the HR2000 motor to the load or driven machine until instructed to do so in the “Setup Parameters” section of the user instruction manual. Wiring the cabinet provides power to the motor. The cabinet includes a 5-15 HP motor fan. When the drive is running in Auto mode, the drive will respond to a feed initiate signal and rotate the motor shaft as defined by the input variables. The JOG FORWARD and JOG REVERSE commands in Manual Mode jog the motor in the forward or reverse direction, respectively.
There cannot be any loose items around the motor. Before attempting to start up the motor, rotate it by hand. Troubleshooting the motor may involve, as a last resort, disassembly. If the motor must be disassembly, be sure to properly align the encoder upon reassembly. If the motor is mounted more than 100 feet from the controller, use the Encoder Isolation/Buffer Kit (3EB1).
