B18H1070 is a Reliance Electric motor that is part of the HR2000 drive series. The flange mounting is 180TC with feet. This motor is enclosed in a TENV enclosure.
The Hookup Diagnostics Menu includes tests for the motor. This menus may alert the user “WARNING: Motor Polarity May be Wrong!” if the program detects a problem with the motor polarity. If this fault occurs, check the wiring and verify the motor connections. The signal on pin 9 (+) and 19 through 25 (0V) is proportional to output torque when power matched control and motor are operating. The signal is 8 VDC at 200% torque at the OA output. The polarity of the signal is either positive or negative based on direction. The logic output signal for ROTATION DIRECTION (45) indicates motor rotation direction ON indicates counterclockwise rotation when viewed from the shaft end. The output stays latched until a change in the direction of the motor. The drive does not have to be in RUN mode. On the 2CN connector, the motor mounted encoder feedback signals are repeated and available.
The Encoder Isolation/Buffer Kit (3EB1) is designed to be used when the motor is mounted more than 100 feet from the controller. Use the color code information found in table 3.3 in the user manual if optional motor encoder circuit box is provided.
