About the B90H1025
Reliance Electric manufactures B90H1025, an enclosed motor that is part of the HR2000 drive series. The horsepower is 2, the continuous torque rating is 63 in-lbs, the base speed is 2000 prm, and the inertia is 0.021 lb. in s^2. The associated chassis controller is 3RA2002. The flange mounting is an FF200 IEC flange. This motor is enclosed in a TENV enclosure.
The HR2000 motors can be identified by their model numbers. The first letter of the part number indicates the type of motor, wherein “B” indicates a high performance HR2000 motor and “S” indicates a low inertia servo motor. The next two numbers and one letter indicate the mounting flange. “14H” is a 140 C-face, “18H” is a 180 C-face, “90H” is an FF200 IEC flange, “14J” is an explosion proof 140 C-face, and “18J” is an explosion proof 180 C-face. The last four numbers are designated by the factory.
To install the motor, verify that it is the appropriate size to use with the controller. To prevent vibration, make sure that the motor’s foundation is sufficiently rigid. Carefully align the motor with the driven machine in order to minimize unnecessary motor loading. Bolt the motor securely in place after alignment. Remember to install a protective guard around all exposed rotating parts if the motor will be accessible while its running. Make certain that motor leads are not touching and that the motor rotates freely. The user must connect motor leads U, V, and W to terminals 601 (U), 602 (V), and 603 (W), respectively. Install the Encoder Isolation/Buffer Kit between the controller and the motor encoder if the motor is mounted more than 100 feet from the controller.
