About the CBRU-1-04
The CBRU-1-04 was a Circuit Breaker Kit designed by Reliance Electric. It was also manufactured with the other manufacturing names of ASEA BROWN BOVERI and Baldor Reliance. This part is now discontinued and is considered to be obsolete.
The CBRU-1-04 is also known as 3CB2007 and is a component in the Input Disconnect Kit. These products were designed to go with the HR2000 series of drives and servo applications. This kit is stationed directly on the controller and has the ability to disrupt the current flowing through the controller when it is needed. There is a thru-the-door option, but not for this particular kit. This kit possesses a 1 HP Drive Rating and an amp rating of 7. It is housed in a white and blue chassis and has a single black On/Off Handle
The CBRU-1-04 shields the motor against excessive current, fluctuating current, or interruptions in the electrical current flowing through the motor. If the circuit breaker detects any of these things, then the circuit breakers will inevitably trip to ensure that the controller is not receiving the irregular current which could cause it to short circuit.
