About the 5RD1600
The 5RD1600 model is a Brushless AC Servo created to be part of the HR500 series of motors and servos and produced by Reliance Electric. The HR500 was created to have an industrial design in mind, and they have numerous needed features that can be utilized to maximize the performance. In a way to aid the motor in its effort to continue a consistent high torque to inertia ratio, the motors have rare earth magnets within its contents. In an effort to properly regulate the speed and position over the motor’s whole operating range, an optical encoder is included within the chassis.

The 5RD1600 Brushless AC Servo’s type HR500/BLJC-08 with a chassis type enclosure. The label states that the M/N is 5RD1600 and that the I/M is D5-3040. The AC input of the 5RD1600 Brushless AC Servo is: 1/3 PH, 50/60 Hz, 200~230 VAC, and 11.0 Amps. The DC output of the 5RD1600 Brushless AC Servo is: 254~358 Volts. Lastly, the short circuit SYM RMS rating is 5k Amps.
