About the 5RD1601
The 5RD1601 is a Brushless AC Servo module designed to be inserted into Reliance Electric’s HR500 chassis model series of motors and servos. The main difference between the 5RD1601 Brushless AC Servo module and its 5RD1600 counterpart is that the 5RD1601 revision has a snubber resistor and the original 5RD1600 model does not. The 5RD1601 is a Brushless AC Servo module is a large white, cube-shaped device. The very top of the front of the 5RD1601 is a Brushless AC Servo module has two indicator lights at the top right with one labeled as “REGENE.” and another labeled as “POWER.” Below these indicator lights are three ON/OFF switches.
At the bottom of the 5RD1601 is a Brushless AC Servo module are two series of screws, one with eight screws and one with three. The left one has eight. The first three on this side are labeled as “AC INPUT,” and the next four are labeled as “DC SUPPLY.” The AC input’s screws are labeled as follows in order: “181 (R),” “182 (S),” and “183 (T).” The DC supply’s screws are labeled as follows as follows in order: “147 (P),” “147 (P),” “145(N),” and “145 (N).” The last on the left side is labeled as “G (E).” The ones on the right are labeled in total as “R B.” The first one is labeled as “147 (P)” and the next two are “RB1” and “RB2.”
