About the 0-51383-2
The 0-51383-2 is a Printed Circuit Controller Card for a Reliance Electric ImPak DC V*S drive controller system. This board may have also been sold by Asea Brown Boveri and/or Baldor Reliance depending on its production years. The ImPak product line is no longer being supported by these companies, but AX Control tries to keep these parts in stock. The 0-51383-2 is a small replacement PCB. It has four factory-drilled holes in each of the four corners that can be used with screws to mount it into an ImPak drive. On the board, there are several small capacitors, two red varistors, three transistors, at least 15 resistors, a transformer, a battery, a relay, and a jumper.
The ImPak Drive system is a wall-mounted drive controller that has the ability to control the AC line voltage that is used in the conversion to a more adjustable DC voltage for the drive motor. The drive system ranges from ¼ to ¾ HP @115 VAC or 1 to 3 HP @ 230 VAC. The operator control station on this system has three standard features. It can power on and off the circuit breaker, provide speed control to the potentiometer, and it has a start and stop selector switch.
For more information about the 0-51383-2 please refer back to the original Reliance Electric ImPak data sheets and user manuals. Only a trained professional should attempt to install the replacement 0-51383-2 into an ImPak system. Failure to do so could result in system damage or personal injuries.
